He deserves it!

Thank you Lord for another day.  Thank you Lord for life, Your protection, favour, healing, provision and blessings in my life. Thank you for the people who visit my blog. May they be blessed by every post they read in some meaningful way. I pray that as they open their hearts that You would touch their hearts, minds and spirits and draw them closer to you.

I pray that they experience Your presence in their lives and their situations in such a way that they would KNOW that God and God alone brought them out of the scary places or moments in their lives. Thank you for the healing that You are bringing to their situations, hearts and their bodies.  Thank you for the financial breakthroughs and the jobs You will be blessing them with over the next few days, weeks and months.

Thank you for being the HOPE in what seems like hopeless periods in our lives. Thank you for giving us the spirit and strength to overcome every obstacle that comes before us. Thank you Jesus for Your LOVE, MERCY and GRACE that comforts us. Thank you for the work You are doing in the lives of those who believe.  In Jesus name, Amen!!!!

As I get ready to go to church, I just had to share that prayer and desire with you.  We should always give THANKS and PRAISE no matter our circumstance because God IS good to us.  We MUST always be grateful for ALL He does for us.  He LOVES us even in our imperfections and weaknesses.

  • Where we see weakness God sees untapped strength.
  • Where we see no hope God sees the possibilities.
  • Where we see failure God sees a lesson.

Give Him the GLORY. HONOUR Him and BLESS His Holy name. All things ARE working for our good. We don’t have to worry but TRUST.  As we let our FAITH fill us, it  will carry us to places our feet and money can’t. 🙂

Heavenly Father, You are AWESOME and my hallelujah belongs to You and only You.  Thank you Lord for ALL you DO for me and IN me. I give You ALL the glory and praise because I would not be here if it were not You. Thank you Jesus!!!!!!

Have a wonderful day and may the peace of the Lord be with you.

Be blessed by the song, “You Deserve It” from JJ. Hairston and Youthful Praise.

Power of Prayer and Your Expectations

Prayers without expectation are just words.

Feelings of frustration, bitterness and hopelessness can stifle our faith.

Faith, even as little as a mustard seed, has the power to turn any situation around. Our belief in Jesus Christ to change and improve our situations NO matter how hopeless they may appear; brings hope and activates the blessings of His grace, mercy and favour in our lives.

It’s time to let our hopes and expectations fill our hearts and prayers, for it is these things that give power to our words and produce the miracles and breakthroughs needed in our lives.

Should you choose to accept it, know that God wants to see and help you overcome every obstacle in your life. Pray over your life and your situations knowing that your faith and belief has gotten God’s attention. My question to you is, what are you going to do with it?

Thank you for making this blog one of your stops on this journey called life.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Health and Wellness Fridays: Healing and Breakthroughs in 2018

Blessing to each of you on this beautiful Friday morning. Glory to God for the brilliance that is the sun which magnifies the beauty all around us. Glory to God for the magnificence that is the moon that lights our way even in the darkness.  Glory to God for His mercy, His love, His grace and His favour that washes over us not only in our highs but our lows. Thank you Father for all You do, have done and will do in our lives. In Jesus name, amen!

Today, we’re going to look at Health and Wellness in a non-traditional manner.  I believe that the quality of our health and wellness has a lot to do with our choice of foods as well as our consumption of those foods; and our daily habits such as smoking, consumption of alcohol, exercise, sleeping habits and our thinking.

However, I also believe that they are the only things that determine our overall health and wellness. For there are things in our lives, minds, bodies and spirits that need more than diet, exercise and sleep alone can provide. I’m speaking about a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.

Did you know that you can be healed with your faith in Jesus Christ?

Did you know that you can walk away from death’s door with faith in Jesus Christ, if that is His will for your life?

Did you know that you can believe yourself into a miracle with faith in Jesus Christ?

Did you know that all you need to improve your health and overall wellness is already in the Bible?

Did you know that even faith as little as a mustard seed can bring the impossible to pass?

Did you know that anything and everything is possible with Jesus Christ?

Today, I’m going to share with you some scriptures from the Bible that you can choose to activate with your faith, for God to work within your own situation or that of a loved one. Nothing is impossible for God! Many times we put our trust and faith in medicine, people and sometimes even ourselves when we should be putting it in the Lord, our Healer. He is the Lord of Lord and the King of Kings. He is life itself.

Here are some quotes from both the Old and New Testaments taken from NKJV Bible. Please know there are many more so seek them out and trust that as you read them Jesus is working in you.

I declare and decree that IF you believe you shall receive the healing in whatever your situations are. When Jesus says, YES no one and nothing can say no. Claim your healing in Jesus name. Amen!

  • “Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak; O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled.” Psalm 6:2

  • “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalm 103:1-5

  • “My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:20-22

  • “O Lord, by these things men live; And in all these things is the life of my spirit; So You will restore me and make me live.” Isaiah 38:16

  • “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.”  Jeremiah 17:14

  • “For I will restore health to you, And heal you of your wounds,” says the Lord. Jeremiah 30:17

  • “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.” Mark 5:34

  • “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, Lest they should see with their eyes,  Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.” John 12:40
  • “by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” Acts 4:30

It is my desire dear friends and brothers and sisters in Christ that we no longer walk around in 2018 feeling stuck and hopeless in whatever challenge that may be before us.  Let us take hold of the Word of God, read it, soak in it and cling to it because has the power of life and healing.

You may be just a scripture away from the miracle you want and need in your life. Trust in God and He will see you through.

Have a wonderful day and an even better weekend.

We’ve been misled!

For many years the human race has been taught that our basic needs to survive are: food, water, air, shelter, clothing and now some have even added sleep.   The scientific basis for this fact, is undeniable. The truth is, those things only meet the needs or requirements of our physical bodies.

What about our spiritual needs?

The spiritual needs I’m referring to, are those of our spirit and soul.  These invisible and yet so powerful aspects of our core are often neglected because many of us don’t know better.  If they are not nurtured, loved, taught and equipped with what they need – there is a sense of void that many of us experience that is often difficult to explain.  There is no amount of food or water that can fill them up.  This is why some people who although they have great wealth, sometimes find themselves feeling like their lives are still missing something.

Persons who go beyond the surface of their lives and develop their spiritual core experience a higher satisfaction in life. These spiritually-minded individuals tend to display: greater optimism, happier, hopeful, purposeful, service-oriented, determined, driven, proactive, helpful, genuine and content in who they are.  They take satisfaction and joy in both the big and little things.

They see the importance and benefit of building their own personal relationships with God.  Such persons recognize that there are powers at work in this world that the eyes can’t see and as such ignorance is not a luxury they can afford. They are what I’ll like to label as, “Spiritually Awaken“.

We grow up being taught that all we need to be happy and successful in life is to study hard, work harder, get a good job, get married and have a family.  We have been taught to measure our success against the parameters of what the world has identified as “success” such as wealth and other material things.  In so doing, many of us have found ourselves frustrated, angry, disappointed, unhappy and depressed with life itself. Both those who have actually attained it as well as those who have not.

Friends, if we continue to focus solely on the needs of our bodies our lives would never be as FULL as it was meant to be.

Question: How do we begin to nurture our spirits?

Answer: By growing in our knowledge, wisdom and understanding of Jesus Christ through reading the Word of God found in the Bible.

The truth is, we’ve been misled to believe that all we need for life is food, water, air, shelter, clothing and sleep.  After years of attaining and enjoying these ‘necessities for life’ I found myself still not living.  I now realize that these things only allow us to exist within this world.  You see, our attention has purposely been shifted away from God. In other instances, God has been portrayed as a concept or a character in a story than a Real Living God.  Hence, many of us have no real relationship with Him.

Hence, the use and importance of the Bible is often downplayed in many instances as just a ‘religious book’. The Bible, is so much more than that.  It is God’s Word documented for us to learn from, live by and prosper.  If you have a bible, READ IT!  If you don’t, INVEST IN ONE!   If you want to live your life more abundantly – FIND OUT WHO JESUS CHRIST IS and WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR ALL OF US.

Life without Jesus Christ is not living.  He is the soil that we should be planted in and His Word is the food, water and nourishment for our souls and spirits.  We must seek Him and ask Him to remove any hindrance from our lives that has been weighing us down.

My Prayer:

Father, as some seek You out in 2018 for the first time and others get reacquainted with You show them how wonderful and mighty You are to ALL those who love, serve and obey Your Word. Give them the courage, strength, wisdom and understanding needed to overcome the deficiencies in their lives.  May they end 2018 stronger and wiser than they started. In Jesus name, amen!

The Source of life itself is Jesus Christ. Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”  (John 14:6)

Are you looking for the impossible in 2018?

Heavenly Father, thank you for each new day and opportunity to learn and grow in You.  Thank you that each day we wake up there is a blessing waiting for us.  Thank you Lord that each day we wake up we are covered by Your precious blood that prevents any weapon formed against us from prospering. Thank you Lord that ALL who read  and hear this message would be blessed by it. Thank you for continuing Your work in and through me. In Jesus name, amen!

Are you looking for the impossible in 2018?

Then, look no further, Jesus Christ is the only Person who can do the impossible in your life.

I suspect that some of you at this point are probably a little disappointed. You’re probably thinking that was not the answer I was looking for when I clicked on this post but I’m here to tell that He is the ANSWER to every situation you are facing now and will ever face.

Many of us spend more money and time on various things that promise to help us with our problems to only be disappointed when we don’t get the results or are unable to sustain the results we were hoping for.

Are you looking for happiness?

Are you looking to finally break free from depression?

Are you looking for healing and restoration to your health?

Are you finding it difficult to be the kind of parent you should be?

Are you tired of being angry all of the time?

Are you tired of being in debt?

Are you tired of looking for love and only finding hurt and misery?

Are you feeling overwhelmed by your circumstances?

Are you feeling all alone in your world?

Are you tired of having your past keep you from experiencing the life you deserve?

Are you consumed by grief and would like to finally relieve all of that pressure from your heart?

Do you want to experience what real love feels like?

Do you want to experience what not being controlled by your fears can be like?

Are you tired of trying and failing no matter how hard you try?

If you’ve answered yes, to any of these questions know this.

Jesus Christ can DO ALL OF THE ABOVE and MORE FOR YOU.

His primary requirement is that we give Him our hearts and rest your souls in His care. The fine print of this relationship says, that we’re should strive to live well with others, seek Him daily through prayer, praise the name of the Lord at all times and read the Word of God and applying it to our daily livesChoosing to submit willingly to His will, trusting and believing in Him above ALL else. To be granted eternal life with Him and have Him in return provide ALL we require for life.

I don’t know about you but His terms and conditions sound much better than the list of problems often associated with a life without Christ in it. I have endured many of my own issues and I can tell you with Jesus it WILL get better.

What I will also tell you is that not because we accept Jesus Christ all of our problems will disappear or that we will never have challenges because I would be lying and misleading you. Life is full of ups and downs but with Jesus Christ our success rate is higher than those going it on their own.

What I can tell you is that with Jesus Christ in our corner – we will not only see our obstacles in a different way but we WILL be given the strength, resources, favour and contacts needed to overcome any challenge we may face.

God is good and there is nothing that can compare to His GREATNESS and LOVE for those believers in Jesus Christ who come to Him.

So I’ll ask you again, are you looking for the impossible in 2018? If yes, how bad do you want it?

Take a listen to this song by Charles Jenkins called My God is Awesome if you still need convincing.

Friends, take hold of Jesus Christ and keep Him close to your hearts and see Him turn 2018 into Your miracle year.

I hope that this post blessed you as much as it has blessed me.

Thank you for making this blog one of your stops on this journey called life.

Have a great day and a blessed week.

Will You Trust God?

Pleasant greetings to each of you.  Heavenly Father, as I prepare to write this post give me the right words to deliver this so that it impacts all those You intend it for. May it open our eyes, minds, hearts and spirits as to what is needed of and from us so that we may experience the changes we’ve been praying for. In Jesus name, amen.

We often hear believers in Jesus Christ say, “You just have to trust God.” I say it all the time on my blog and even in my everyday life.  However, it occurred to me just now, that this word “trust” is often easier said than done.  Just look at how difficult it is for some of us to apply it to our everyday lives and relationships. It’s no wonder so many people find it hard to trust in someone or something they cannot see.

Thankfully, I have learnt to trust God more and more over the years but it was not easy.  After many life lessons, stumbles, prayers and perseverance my breakthroughs eventually came one by one.  These experiences both the good and bad have helped increase my faith and belief in God.

As I look back, I can say now that those seasons in my life were not meant to be the end of me but rather were there to hopefully push and pull me into my own awareness and relationship with God.  I am thankful that I endured and that God gave me the strength to persevere so that I could overcome them.

My friends, you can learn to do this too. You can develop and strengthen your relationship with God.  You can learn to trust God as you exercise your faith in Him daily. When you do, He will show up in your life and do things that you would have no doubt that ONLY God could have done for you. 🙂

Here are some things that can hinder our development of trust and faith in God:

  • Many of us know of God but have no real relationship with Him.   To develop a relationship with God we need to seek Him daily.  We need to ask Him to intervene in our life and work on our behalf for the things we so tirelessly try to fix and go after ourselves.  Then, allow Him to do His thing.
  • Many of us are caught up in religion when our PRIMARY FOCUS should be solely on GODWho He is? What He stands for?  What are His expectations of us? How can we become what He needs us to be? All of these are the questions we should be asking and seeking the answers for.
  • Many of us are walking around not receiving the breakthroughs we need in our lives because we are ignorant to what we truly need to be successful.  We need Jesus Christ.  We need to read and meditate on the Word of God.  We need the wisdom that the word of God provides if we want to be truly successful in life.
  • Many of us want more out of life but are not willing to give up some things or some negative people to grow into who we are meant to be.
  • Many of us want to be successful but are not willing to do the work. Hence some of us sit, complain and constantly compare rather than aggressively going after what we claim to want.
  • Many of us lack patience. God’s timing and our ‘right now attitude’ will always clash. As a result, we feel frustrated and at times angry with ourselves and sometimes God.
  • Many of us have grown dependent on the church or a particular individual (religious leader) for our deliverance when the truth and the fact is ALL we need Jesus Christ.  The purpose of the church and a religious leader is to educate us about the word of God.  It is our responsibility to build and nurture our own individual relationships with God. It is not the responsibility of the church or the pastor.  We need to take control of our own relationships with God through Jesus Christ and not rely on any institution or individual. Their role is to guide but we have to do the work.

God wants us to diligently seek Him.  God wants us to desire Him more than the things of this world. God wants to help us in our everyday affairs be it our finances, relationships, marriages, parenting, workplace or our health concerns but he won’t force Himself into them. We must invite Him to take control and let Him do it His way.

If we have no expectation of God then we have no reason to trust Him.  Expectation will build our faith, faith will develop our trust and all three can deliver our miracle.

Our faith and trust in God will grow as:

We choose to trust Him even when everyone else has walked away.

We choose to trust Him even when we are unclear or uncertain of our next step.

We choose to trust Him even when people think we are crazy.

We choose to trust Him even when we don’t understand.

We choose to trust Him even when things look a mess?

We choose to trust Him even when it hurts?

Friends, if we can do this, God will DO for us what we could not do for ourselves.  He would show us and all the doubters that He is Lord.  He would show us that no matter what our situations may look like He is in control.

Keep God at the center of your life and everything else will fall into place.

Music Reflection Mondays: “Only You Jesus”

Hello and welcome back to Music Reflection Mondays!

My Prayer:

Thank you Lord for another opportunity to shine bright in Your glory.  Thank you Lord for another chance to be better than we were yesterday or last week.  Thank you Lord for the strength to endure all that will come before us today and this week. Thank you Lord that You are the rock we stand on. Thank you for Your Word that gives us knowledge and wisdom. Bless us with understanding, Your favour and mercy as we aim to become ALL You have called us to be. In Jesus name, amen!

We can easily forget that the season of life that we are in is just for a time and sometimes we need to be reminded that we are not alone.  I believe that every season that we are allowed to endure is a test. It is not meant for our downfall but rather our development.

God wants us to persevere and overcome.

God will not give us more than we can bear.

God will never take us into a situation He cannot bring us out of.

God by nature is life and love.

God is our rock and our refuge.

Only God can strengthen us to do and endure what seems impossible.  Don’t lose hope.  Don’t lose faith. Seek Jesus Christ and He will see you through. That is just the kind of Father He is. Don’t push Him away, embrace Him and all that He is.

Today’s song is called, “Only You Jesus” and it is sang by Ada Ehi. She is a Nigerian born international singer and songwriter. In 2017, she won Groove Awards for West African Artist of the Year.  I just love the message of this song and I pray that as you listen to it that it blesses you as well.

Tap into the Power of God. Don’t magnify you problems.  Whenever you feel like your obstacles are greater than you bring them before God.  Trust Him to resolve them.

Thank you for making this blog one of your stops on this journey called life.

Have a productive, successful and blessed week.
