Hustle and Bustle

The hustle and bustle at Christmas time

Leaves us with SO much to do

In so little time

As we go from store to store

Looking for bargains and deals galore

To gift our friends and family

Who sometimes wished they got more 🙁

The hustle and bustle

Although tiring is not all bad

As we reminisce on all we’ve done

When friends and family come together to have some fun

The hustle and bustle

Kept our blood flowing

And our bodies moving

While our brains were ticking

Trying to make sure we forgot nothing

So of course, we’ve made our lists and checked it twice

Hoping to make sure this Christmas is bright

So we hustle and bustle even through our sore muscles

To make each Christmas one they remember

Long after December 🙂

Whatever you do to prepare for the Christmas season, don’t forget the reason for the season.  Have a safe and wonderful Christmas.

Thank you for stopping by.  🙂

  1. I’ve finally had some time to come to a stand still and catch up on reading. This is a wonderful place to start, Cherylene :):) I feel we don’t always remember what we got for a present, it’s the moments in those “present” moments that we remember. Ask someone what you gave them for Christmas last year, and it might take them a minute, or two to remember. Unless it was something like a car or house hahaha but they will remember being there with you, and the time that was shared. We can even do this on our selves. Take a minute to think about one person. Now, what did they give you for Christmas last year? I’ll venture to say, that we quickly remember being with them, not so quickly what they gave us. Great post. God Bless you 🙂

  2. You’re very right, this is such a relatable post, it’s nice reminder to slow down a little bit 😊
