What’s Up Wednesdays #12

Hello and welcome back to What’s Up Wednesdays! 🙂

How have you guys been?  What have you been up to?  I’ve been relaxing for the last 4 days and I’ll share more of that retreat with you today so let’s get into it.

What I’m eating this week:

I’ll be honest with you, this morning for breakfast I had a cup of tea with 2 slices of Hawaiian leftover pizza from Pizza Hut.  Yes, that’s right.  I said pizza for breakfast.

For lunch I had a burger from Burger King and for dinner tonight I had two Chinese Veggie Spring Rolls.  I know what you’re thinking, too much junk food and you are so right.  I promise to do better.

What I’m loving:

Gearing up for part 2 of the experience I’ve planned for the family.  Tomorrow we’re off again to another mini-vacation getaway on the island.  I’ll take pics and share with you upon my return next week.

What I’ve been up to:

Rest! Rest! Rest!

What I’m dreading:

The flu! 🙁  Yesterday, I was not feeling so well and this morning I woke up with flu symptoms – sneezing, stuffy nose, congestion and watery eyes just to name a few.  This is awful because I feel miserable and sick.  It might even be allergies either way terrible timing. Thankfully, I have been medicating and trying to rest.  I’m hoping and praying for a speedy recovery.

What I’m working on:

Not a damn thing! I’m honestly trying to just enjoy my vacation time with the kids while I can before the other home improvement project starts next week.

What I’m excited about:

Seeing the projects we’ve set out to do get completed one at a time. It is such a good feeling to finally see these things get done.  They were long overdue. No more procrastination or delay.

What I’m watching:

I’m pleased to report that I have started Season 2 of Orphan Black and I’ve completed episodes 1 to 5. I can’t wait to see the rest. I’m hoping to finish the rest of season 2 before I leave tomorrow.  Wishful thinking. 😉

What else is new?

My car.  It was time for an upgrade.  I have not forsaken the old for the new.  I plan on having some restoration work done on the Corolla or maybe sell for the right price. We’ll see how it goes.

Sorry guys but there will be no Health and Wellness post this Friday. Family time.  I will definitely post next week Friday. That’s all for now.

  1. Thank you for your best wishes Linda! I am happy to report that I’m back and we all had a wonderful time. My flu symptoms turned out to be allergies and I was able to take care of it and have a great time resting and just relaxing.

  2. Continue to rest, don’t worry about eating a little junk food. Don’t worry about anything but having fun! Will that flu/allergy stuff away. It’s unacceptable to have that stuff over vacation! Have a wonderful time!
